The fragment is a well-preserved double page of the book. The distance between text columns is 2.6 cm. Probably, this fragment belongs to U 172 (Wilkens, №585) and to U 179 (Wilkens, №590) manuscripts.

Manuscript: Old Turkic.

Paper: tan, soft.

Quantity of lines: part I: on both sides 11 lines and 1 heading; part II: on both sides 12 lines and 1 heading.

Designations: between the part I (front) and part II (back): Т.М. 342 is written (pen); the stickers U5 and ТМ 342 are pasted on the left top corner.

Characteristics: Colon marks are circled in red.

Size

Distance between lines: 1.0 cm; however, between lines 3 and 4: 0,8 cm; between heading and the first line: 1.5 cm.

14.8 cm (height) x 22 cm (width).

Researches

L.Clark 422 claims that this fragment is a part of the manuscript of the story “Mentions Astrology”.
