Location

Found during the archeological excavations of the Second German Turfan expedition (Zweite Preußische Turfanexpedition 410) in East Turkestan.

It is stored in the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences (Berlin-Brandenburgischen Akademie der Wissenschaften).

Specification

The top part of a book page, the most part of first two lines is torn off.

Manuscript: front side is in Uig., back side is in Old Turkic.

Paper: rough, grey-yellow, fibrous.

Quantity of lines: 6 lines on the front side, 7 lines on the back side.

Designations: on front side in the large empty place between 5 and 6 lines: symbol T II (stamp) and T (pen); on the right top edge of the back side there is old sticker: T II T x 6 Toyoq symbol; on the left bottom corner a sticker: U181 symbol.

Size

Distance between lines: 1.7-2.0 cm.

14.0 cm (height) x 27.2 cm (width).
