“The Darvi Turkic inscriptions”
The inscriptions found on rocks of district «Bayshin uzuuryin zhurgeryin tsagaan tolgoy» on Shar Bulag mountain of Darvi sum of Khovd aimag of Mongolia.
The rock is kind of clusters of stones of light grey granite.
There are 5 lines of inscriptions in different places of the rock. There are also 24 signs.
Height of the inscriptions is 5 cm in average.
Mongolian archeologist H.Perlee found in 1959. B.Rintchen published a picture262 in 1968. S.G.Klyashtornyi, H.Luvsanbaldan, M.Shinehuu, the members of Soviet-Mongolian joint expedition conducted researches in 1969 and 1970. Study of the inscriptions was published by M.Shinehuu on the basis of his own manual copies 263.
