East Turkestan is very rich region of ancient manuscripts. There are manuscripts found in present Uigur autonomy in regions Turfan, Dunhuang, Miran and walls with Old Turkic writings. The biggest manuscript is “Irk bitig” written on 62 pages. Researches of these writings have been conducted since 1902.
