The White Hill (Aq shoqy)

Location

The inscription was carved on a rock, located in “Zuun Oroyn Ovolzhoo” or “Aq shoqy” (in Mongolian: Tsagaan salaa) districts Ulan-kus sum of Bayan-Ölgii aimag of Mongolia.

Specification

Challenge in this inscription is the forms of 3rd, 4th, 6th and 14th symbols. We read under very subjective assumptions. It is necessary to make a full copy of the inscription to study.

Size

Found by D.Tseveendorzh, E.Jakobson, V.D.Kubarev, members of expedition held under “Ancient Altai” project of Mongolia, USA and Russia in 1995. D.Tseveendorzh and T.Battulga 418 have promulgated and translated the inscription. It is still necessary conduct detailed research of the inscription.
