[Ačïde] Ачыде
“Ačï+de” is plural plural form of the word “Ačïnu” (wolves). The Mongolian ethnos named ancient Turks “Ačïnu” – “čïnuw > čïnu > čоnо (a wolf)”. Ačï+de – the plural form (i.e. wolves). Chinese adopted this Mongolian names Ačïnu and Ačïde. These names do not occur in the Turkic inscriptions. It is wrong to consider words “achina” and “achide” as names of two tribes, or words of male and female form. Some scientists assume that “the kagan’s family name is Achina, totem is a wolf, sign is a mountain goat, an envoy of the sky a mountain goat (the top world). The female side ashide (a snail, a dragon), sign is ?, totem is dragon or lion, cult is Umai (the bottom world), the earth and water”. These scientists relay on Khotano-saka word “assejna” meaning “dark blue”, the middle Persian word “ashide” i.e. “azdahak” meaning “a dragon”, the primary source is Zoroaster (Ю.А. Зуев. Ранние тюрки: очерки истории и идеологии, Алматы, 2002, 25, 86-87 стр. (ашина (дневное небо, кек тюрк) kaganский, ашитак / кит. Ашидэ; др. тюрк. аждаха- дракон /катунский линии «iki jyltyz»).
Tr'wkt ' (') šyn's> Turk ashinas (The Tatpar kagan inscription, В1.1-line): These two words have been written in old Sogdian. Here «ashinas» in Chinese sources occur as A-schi-na> Ashina. This was a name of a father of the Kagan’s family at first, then it began to be used as designation of his family. Therefore Chinese people and Sogdian people had adopted the name of Turks as did the Mongolian ethnos as činuw-a > čïnu > čоn> chono (a wolf), činuw-a+s//činuw-a+d> chono+s//chono+d (wolves-ashide). Also Chinese had adopted the Mongolian name “türüg > turug” as “duluga> dulga”, later Chinese people wrote a word “turk” as «tjuze, tukuj».
