[Ordu balïq] Ордұ-балық |
The Horde-balyq (Qara balyq - The Black city?) Capital of the Turkic El and Uigur
khanate in VII-XI century. Local people call: Har balgas (A black town), Khan balyq
(The Khan’s city). It is located in the south of Hoton sum of Arhangay aimak of Mongolia.
There are no certain data on the origin of the city name. It is not known why the city has
several names: “Khan-balyq, Balyqlyq, Horde-balyq, Qara balgasun, Har-balgas».
Nevertheless as the Mongolian name Har-balgas the Khan balyk, Balіqlіq > Balyqlyq, Ordu balпq> the Hordes balyq, Har-balgasun. |
