Old Turkic word “sü> su” means “spearmen, heavily armed pedestrian or horsemen”. Weapons of Turkic soldiers were daggers, bows, swords, shields and lances. Heavily armed horsemen dressed armour not only themselves, but also dressed their horses. Then such soldiers could not be overcome any way. |
