Jalbak-Tash XXIII

Location

The inscription is among the inscriptions marked Jalbak-Tash from XVII up to XXIX on the so called Jalbak-Tash, Plain III.

Specification

The vertical text consists of 20 symbols, placed on the right side of the second layer of the rock plain. The inscription is carved before small image of a deer, which had been carved earlier. The top part of the line is curved because of damage in the surface of the rock. Height of the symbols are lowered from the beginning to the middle of the line (from 2.1-2.3 cm and 1.5-1.6 cm to 1-1.3 cm).

Size

Length of the line is 27.7 cm. Height of symbols is from 1 cm to 2.3 cm.

Researches

Kubarev found in 1987⁵⁸². The text is studied by Kyzlasov⁵⁷⁸. Publications: Kyzlasov⁵¹⁷, Kubarev⁵⁸¹, Kocheev⁵²³.
