The words younger brother, grandfather, son, daughter, queen, woman (mother) are also used in modern Kazakh.
Qy[aqaη] father
Qym QGN
[aqaηïm: qaγan]
my father is kagan
Ta[ata] grandfather

In modern Kazakh is used in the same meaning. In old Turkic it meant father.

ug[ög] not own
ugm ilbilgaQTUNG
[ögüm: Elbilge qatunïγ]
My mother (not own) Elbilge
Cu[ečü] grandfather

Though it corresponds to “sensible” now it’s translated as “grandfather”. The stem of the words “Есті”, “естияр”. Here “естияр” Cu r [ečü: er] is “a sensible man”.
