Location
The inscription is written on a rock of “Shaahar Tolgoy” district in Chandman sum of Govi-Altai aimag of Mongolia. There are some Turkic inscriptions and other symbols (tamgas) on the rock. Researches
The first report of the inscription was given by members of an expedition held by the Cultural Heritage Center of Mongolia in 1996.
Boldbaatar gave some information on the inscription. The scientists consider the last to sings “ČUR” as “čor” like in words Moyn-čor, Baga-čor, Kul-čor, El-čor and etc. The “Shaahar Tolgoy” inscription states “BLČUR”. It can be “Bal-čor” or “Ïbïl-čor”. It is difficult to examine short inscription of the kind.
